Yet another power adaptor for GH2 with original DCC8 Coupler

Hiya,

I took some inspiration from the other guys on here who have wired together a generic power adaptor to a DCC8 coupler. I also wired up 6 X AA batteries ready to be plugged into the coupler if I run out of power from my original battery. The beauty of my job is that I have access to a lot of used AA batteries and I'm averaging a voltage of about 8.5V from the 6 X AA's.

Tonight I'm going to plug it in to my GH2 to see if I am successful. I have checked the polarity of all my wiring to make sure it is all correct.

OK, so the power adaptor worked perfectly. However the 6 X AA batteries gave me a message saying "this battery is unsupported". I'm thinking the combined voltage of the 6 batteries is currently to0 high (8.5v), so I reckon if they were more flat, they would work as an alternative power source.
