I just recently bought a Focus FS-H200. Wondering if anybody else has had some issues with bringing the cameras "free run" TC into premiere CS5 with clips recorded to the firestore? I have the settings in the firestore correct, Im sure of that. I downloaded a trial version of CS6 and it seems to work fine with the newer version of premiere. In CS5: I can see the free run timecode from the footage that I imported from the tape but and not the freen run tc from identical footage off the firestore.
Also, I noticed every clip I record to the firestore seems to get split a few seconds in for some reason. It makes a mess of my timeline doubling the number of clips to import. Not only that. they seem to be damaged: random frame rate and run time. These short clips sometimes have a 2 hour run time but only a few seconds of video. Thoughts?
