Morning all, wonder if you could be of help again.
On my PAL XH-A1, are there any specific settings other than using the standard 108050i and 108025p presets that i need to change/set to upload and edit footage on my XH-A1 in FCP? As when i capture in those presets, i don't get the little blue HDV light next to the Firewire connector, does that matter? The footage looks more than good enough to me!
Second question, which would be the best codec to use to edit captured HD footage in SD? I've got the HDV footage already captured, and i want to use an SD timeline, would DVCPro be best do you think? I'm sure the extra resolution warrants using something better than just DV-PAL.
