I bought a xh a1 used and dont have any software for it. I've tried to find it online but I can't seem to find it for vista. Does anybody know where I could find this software or anything else i could do? I used to have a little sony that was harddrive and not tape so im new to this and confused! Any help would be nice, thanks!

I assume by software you mean software to import the footage? For this you will need a NLE (Non Linear Editor) like Final Cut Pro - Sony Vegas - Adobe Premire - Apples iMovie - or comparable. Depending on your choice of editor you need to "convert" the HDV footage to a different format for editing. Each editor has different choices for this.
