XH-A1 firewire issues

I've owned my Canon camera for 3+ years, and started to have an issue with recording to my FS-C Firestore unit. I checked out the firewire connections and noticed one of the 4 pins is missing (on the camera). I'm probably going to shell out the $$ to get it fixed because it's time to move on and upgrade (I'd like to sell the cam + Firestore + additional accessories & I feel I should do the noble thing and get the port fixed. If I don't-- I want to be honest in selling-- should I just knock off $200 of my asking price to cover the cost of repair?

Thoughts?

As long as you mention the problem and reflect it in the price....it's not an issue. This could be a great deal for a hv20/30/40 owner looking to move up. For shooting right away they could just record to tape on the A1 and use the HV for capture.(then they could get the A1 firewire fixed later for Firestore recording.)
But...if you want to get the absolute most for the A1, you might want to get it fixed. I'd just weigh out the repair cost vs what you could sell for repaired and unrepaired and go from there.
