XH-A1 capturing compatibility

I've read that the HV20 works as a great deck for the A1, but I am to be in a situation where I may have to take footage taken from an HV20 and put it on my computer, but I would only have access to my A1. Is it safe to assume that the A1 can be used to capture HV20 24p footage? I know the HV20 is often used as a deck for 24f A1 footage, but I do not know if the opposite works as well. Any insight would be appreciated.

Since topic compares both cameras, I was uncertain exactly what forum to put this in, but put it here since the A1 is the camera I would be using to capture it. Hope this is the right spot for the question.
 
Thanks for the confidance, but is that a for sure thing? By all logic it should, but I haven't read anywhere where the A1 can specifically capture the HV20's 24p. If there are any hitches, I'd like to find that out now instead of when I'm trying to capture the tape.
