XH A1 battery

Are third pary batteries ok to use in my xh a1, they are so much cheaper than the canon ones.

Any opinions?

As long as they have been made to suit your camera there is no problem I use them all the time.

all I have herd is that some of the cheaper batteries get stuck in the compartment I love the 970 they last a long time

Have used the Power2000 since I bought the A1. Lasts forever and costs much less than the Canon.
