I shot a music vid yesterday with a XF305 and two XF100s
The studio was lit with 5300k tubes all the same all around the studio and gave a great flat light source. We had to get all the cams looking the same so first thing was White Balance. We set the 305 first and after a custom white balance the camera was setting itself at 6700k which I thought was a little strange because there wasn't any other light sources in the room. Next the two 100's....They both came in at 5600k & 5500k much more what I was expecting from the cameras again due to the light sources.
When setting the 305 the VFM scopes on the camera did actually look off centre when the camera was set to 5600k but then better when at 6700k
I am just a little confused though as to why the camera is firstly out by 1000k from the light sources BUT the two other 100's where actually coming out as I would expect but looked a little green in there footage. Are the cameras sensors that different?
here's a link to the specs of the lights

None of the cameras had any picture profiles they were all at default but that would of made any difference to the white balance settings though.
Thanks for any comments
