XF305 vs XF105 test, XF300 XF100 equivalents

Here is a not optimally done test between the XF305 and 105 at 50i. Appears to be different gamma curves, but who knows how cams were set. Also different DOF in some shots. But 305 is sharper, and as set also has more contrast.

Only had chance to see on an iPad. Will comment further when at my editing monitor.

thanks for the post...I'm seriously thinking about getting an xf100! From that video, I didn't notice a huge amount of difference between the two, but I don't believe the exported quality of that video was great.

That is the problem, there are no HD samples available and so NO rational conclusion can be reached, except for the interlaced Slashcam.com samples that not everyone believes just because they do not believe that a single 1/3" inch chip can perform that well. We need better samples. All we know is that it have many user friendly ergonomics and features.
