x error on screen...

A red x shows up on my screen as I try to record. I shut down the camera and restart and it goes away...but it's coming back. My friend says the camera needs head cleaning, though I have less than 20 hours of shooting in it.

I tried searching but I didn't find any posts that would help...I'm sorry if you have discussed this before.

not at all...only using the panasonic ay-dvm63mq ones....

so clean your heads, it could be for a number of reasons none having to do with usage hours. Its like saying I bought a new car last year and now it needs an oil change what should I do? Get the oil changed!
