Wtf? Awful looking film in theaters!?

i didnt get the impression by that comment that t is an april fools joke....besides, unless someone actually said "april fools", then we still dont know if this thing is legit or not

Well a quote culled from an actor who's in the film's blog stating that the surprise will be revealed 4/1, seems to strongly suggest that it is at least some kind of April Fool's joke, no?

Well, whatever this "After Last Season" trailer is trying to accomplish, I think it's doing it's job, real movie or not.
Unless it is a real movie that takes it self seriously and the intent of the trailer was to find an audience wanting to see a non-ironic (real) drama. It's getting attention. But not attention that will serve it well if it's meant to be taken seriously. Still if it is meant to be taken seriously, it's clearly abissmal and the trailer garnering the wrong kind of attention will at least get a curios few to see it to see just how bad it is. Audience numbers which it probably wouldn't get otherwise. Might even become a cult thing just as the trailer has become a viral thing - if it's meant to be taken seriously but is so accidentally bad that it's fun.

I seriously forgot we're still in March....silly me...then yes, this can be an April fools joke....sorry

Okay so it' officially no longer paril 1st... at least eastern time. however I haven't seen anything that makes it seem like it's an april fools joke. Say having every trailer turn into that trailer, or anything along those lines.

I mean youtube flipped some of their videos upside down, but apple did nothing. Plus this trailer is no longer just on apple.

Soooo.... it's no joke.

I seriously want to interview this guy and ask him "wtf are you thinking!?!"

Still no confirmation of an April Fool's Joke, but man, this other trailer at videogum had me peeing in my pants laughing--

holy moly.

ya know, if Moses could have just come down with the original Commandments on Data-DVD, with a backup on God's Mac, he wouldn't have lost/broken half of them, and we would be so much farther along on this Earth.

i had to watch that one twice. so much effort, i feel horrible for all those responsible. ah well. time to drink the wine!

Com'on man!!
Don't be blaspheming over here.
You know God is rockin' a spec'd out PC with Vista Supreme Being Service Pack 3:16.

5 million dollars!?!?! On those special effects!?! Wasn't that done in poser!?!

5 million dollars... ha! Now I've never had to spend money on special effects, but that sounds wayyyy too much.

A lot of people are saying it must be a hoax, but with what intent? I mean most people claim it's a hoax, thus the hoax doesn't even work.

Also as for the debates about whether it's art or not... it's not. I mean I've seen "art" in films, and at least they know how to aesthetically do things correctly.

I really want someone to ask this guy "wtf is this?" and demand him to explain why it's so bad. I don't buy the "I wanted to keep it simple" excuse. This isn't keeping it simple, this is making a fool out of yourself. It's like wearing a garbage bag to a fashion show because you wanted to keep it simple.

This piece of crap was shot on 35mm? That's like a cinematic oxymoron; a filmmaker with enough integrity to want to shoot on 35mm film, but so little integrity that he builds a prop MRI machine out of cardboard in someone's bedroom, and doesn't bother to frame the ceiling fan out of the shot.
