Guys,

I am looking to buy a used Steadicam or specifically Glidecame 2000. I thought I'd check online, before I went over to ebay. If anyone has one to sell. Let me know the price!!! And PM me.

What is a 2000 pro ? Glidecam ... save your money a little more for a vest/arm rig. REALLY ....

Xanhood,
Judging form your posts, you are in a rush to buy. I'd sugest slowing down a little and dooing a bit of reserch before you buy so you get the right thing for your needs (a stabilizer is not a magic soltion to every shot).

Run a search of the forum here for "Steadicam" and "Glidecam" and you will find a lot of information regarding the options and how various units compare.

Mikko.

I actually have spent a good deal of time reading through the posts. Although my knowledge doesn't feel like it. But, yes, I am in impulsive buyer.

I am always thankful for the help, thanks.

Get a Steadicam Merlin, every review I read says that for its usability and pricepoint it cant be beat.

lol rlm I should get mine this week, hopefully I can post some test shots... Ill do like a one hour after use, one day, one week.. virtually same thing then it will show the learning curve in usage. Will be interesting.. one hour ugh shots wont be worth a dime....

hmmm, I was thinking of buying the Smooth Shooter. I goes for $1,500 on ebay and I was told that's one of the best to have by users on steadicamforum.com.

What do you guys think?

Best for what?
What camera and what type of shooting are you planning with it?

Maybe you allready discussed this on steadicamforum, but I can't find your thread there... do you have a link for it?
