Any recommendations on where to purchase an HPX170 ?

A few stores/sites are pre-sellling....but I would welcome this groups experience and recommendations. Thanks

AVS out of San Diego also seem to be pretty good. In another thread, a member gives a contact there who is giving dvxusers a nice discount. I think it's in the HPX 2nd look article thread.

spec-comm. I've had pretty hit and miss service with b&h. If full compass is doing pre-orders I'd definitely think about them as well. Impeccable service. Cant go wrong with them or Spec-comm

I have to agree with Jeff. After a very bad transaction with B&H, I would go with Spec-comm or another dealer.

The best deal I have seen is from Julian at AVS.
I have bought from him a lot and he is good people.
The best way is via phone. If you try to get it from the site it will be the regular price, but since he is an account executive he can give discounts to DVXusers.

He will give you the same price I got. He asked that I not say the exact price, but it is less than $4900. Apparantly it is not an advertised price, so you have to get it through a direct contact. You can tell him Robert sent you if you need to.

His contact info is :

You might try Custom Supply in Alabama. I don't know if they are a Panasonic dealer, but they've had really good prices on things that I've bought in the past.
