WTB: 3-sensor cam for new production setup!

First post! Great site, been having a lot of fun surfing around here. However, I haven't had as much fun finding a versatile, well-equipped camera that doesn't make my accountant pull all his hair out in frustration...if I had an accountant. I have a budget of about $2300 for this camera, though I can go up to $3000 if there's absolutely no other option. These are some of the specs/features I've been thinking will help in my videography and fiction filmmaking:

1080p/i (or Full HD)
variable frame rates for smooth, no-blur slow motion or time lapse sequences (60p would be nice!)
24p (or equivalent)
1-4 LUX for low-light situations
Lots of manual controls
HDV or AVCHD format
XLR capable
Image Stabilization for hand-work
New or used, I don't care at this point! lol

Cameras I've been considering: HMC150 for sure, but Panasonic just upped the MSRP and put it out of my price range (asses). The HMC70 would be great too, were it not for it's general lack of manual controls (from what I've read). I'm also looking at the Sony Z1U and V1Us, and the Canon XH-A1 (or s), but even used they are way too much for what they do.

The HMC40 would be a great B camera, but it's not coming out until September and I really need to start playing with a camera ASAP, get accustomed to the controls/interface so that I'll be prepared for event videography.

If you know of anything or are looking to sell a camera with the features I listed above, in my price range, I'd really appreciate it. Two weeks of sorting through bullsh*t scams and gray market deals is basically eating away at my soul. When I look in the mirror now, I basically see this: :zombie_smiley:. Not good. So, please feel free to PM me at any time and help me out on this. Thanks!

You have no idea how much I want the HMC150, but nobody seems to want to let theirs go lol. The lowest price I could find was $3300 new at a local store, and with the 16GB, class 6 mail-in offer and a 3 year warranty, it's certainly a better deal than a new XH-A1. I think I'm going to have to sell my body for $300 this weekend. Any takers? I've got pics!

It's done, I went with the HMC150 for $3199. Bought from ATV video center in Sacramento. I figure they have an A rating at BBB, so I'm not being scammed or getting stuck with a gray market cam. I really considered buying the XH-A1, but I just get a smile every time I see the HMC footage. I think that's the most important thing.
