You cannot copy to a p2 card from FCP, although Raylight Mac may eventually support it.

Thanks Dvid, but that was actually my question, but probably not put right. What setting does my HVX to be in to export from a sequence. What are the steps to take?
I put my HVX in mcr mode then press 3 seconds so I get the message that Im connected but then I don't see a image coming onto my screen.

First of all, give us the specifics?
What sequence settings? What computer? That version of FCP? What capture settings in the cam?

In Final Cut Pro, prepare your sequence for output as you normally would.
In the Camera Menu, choose an HD format that matches your sequence output.

In the MCR menu on the camera, ensure that 1394 TC REGEN is set to ON and 1394 UB REGEN is also set to ON.
Choose File > Print to Video and make the appropriate selections. You must start the recording on the camera manually after beginning the sequence playback. Therefore, it is recommended that a leader element be used in the Print to Video dialog box in Final Cut Pro. Do not check the Automatically Start Recording checkbox.

Have you tried what I suggested?
I've not tried with anything but DVCProHD footage.
But give it a try as outlined above.
