Hey guys,
It's been a while since I've posted anything around DVXuser as I've been out shooting a whole bunch! Here's the link to the trailer for my new film. I was one of the directors as well as the cinematographer.
We shot on a 7D with a 50mm 1.4, a Tokina 11-16 2.8, and a Canon 17-85. The audio was done with a Zoom H4n and a Rode NTG-2. In retrospect, I wish I had used lavaliers for a lot of the scenes, but it turned out pretty well overall. We lit using mostly worklights of different sizes, but we also used Kino Flo 4x4 "Fat Man" banks for a few shoots and some of it was just carefully shot in natural light.
Many of these scenes couldn't have been shot on anything besieds a DSLR with the 50 1.4 simply because of the extreme low light conditions. It was my first 7D short, and I really enjoyed it versus shooting on a Letus/HVX or XHA1 setup.
Anyhow, here's the link:

Let me know what you think! We're submitting to festivals after new years.
