Actually the C300-2 takes any lens with adaptors and yields a beautiful image. But it is the number one choice of clients in rental houses over the FS7. So much speculation about Mobutu. I'll see if I can find other videos that will trigger Mobutu discussions. There will always be at least one or two schmucks to take the bait and start speculating about Mobutu. I am waiting for the moron who will say "I bet Mobutu does not own a C300..." Which one of you Troll hunting schmucks will say it first? The competition is on. For all others I highly recommend the C300 mk 2. But this is not the forum for it. So I will see you on the Canon forums.

When I hear a producer or director say "the audience won't be able to see the difference" it's time to get ready for 'I don't really care what it looks like - I just want to get it done.' -- no matter how un-makeable the schedule is. Which means either leave the project or accept the fact that this may not be something that you actually want your name attached to. It's not about the choice of a camera - the FS7 and EX1 can both make surprisingly nice images, as can many other cameras as well given the time and resources to make them shine - but an overall attitude about the value of a crew and whether their creativity and talent are worth anything.
Nah, all camera footage can be fixed in post. All cinematic professionals know that the real question is: Mac or PC.
C300mk2 is rented out more, but the FS7 is owned more often and used more often than the C300mk2Actually the C300-2 takes any lens with adaptors and yields a beautiful image. But it is the number one choice of clients in rental houses over the FS7.
You promised to leave to the Canon forum. But all right, but only because you kept asking, I spent some time on this video.
I would never never never never never ever agree with a guy who talks a full 20 minutes to a camera with his eyes hidden behind a cap.
When you want to discuss like an expert dress like one and use a decor that suits the topic. This guy looks like a bookkeeper in this room full of files. And though I tried, I could not finish his 20-minute monologue about two cameras. So I skipped 19 minutes to his conclusion; buy the MK1 version because the MK2 is more expensive. And that was another minute of wasted time.
