Worth keeping a 50mm?

I have the 17-55mm f/2.8 IS lens, and I have a 50mm f/1.4 which I got before.

I dont use the 50mm lens really often as the other lens is a zoom and I have the 50mm focal length in it.

Is it still worth keeping, or should I sell it because I dont use it?

Okay, its great because its a 1.4 not a 2.8 but, still.
When shooting a video and you need a 50mm focal length, it doesnt matter if I use my 17-55 or my 50 to achieve this, does it?

Well, the 50mm offers you two stops of extra light. Keep it if you're not desperate for money, it'll be handy in some situation.

For example when you'd have to use ISO 3200 to get a decent exposure with the 17-55, you'f only need ISO 800 with the 50mm. Quite a difference if we consider low light scenarios.

It really depends on what you shoot. I use both 50/1.4 and 24-70 f2.8 zoom all the time, because I shoot variable focal lengths (often without being able to move) and low light too. That's why I also have other low light primes (14/24/35) as well. However, if you don't use it AND there is something else you want to buy with the money - sell it and buy the other thing. If you are not in need of the money - keep it because you never know when you are going to need it.
