Worst movies eveeeeeeeeer!!!

"KIDS"
just another awful 90s film trying to push an envelope that didn't need to be pushed.

depends on what context you place it in, being a larry clark film i think it made perfect sense. if you take into account clark's work since being a photographer it makes total sense. kids push envelopes with every generation to the next, i think it's called either finding yourself or finding the boundaries. even other primates do it too, but probably with less pot. what other 90's films push the envelope that shouldn't be pushed? twins? beethoven? i think kids picked off a big honest scab. in fact, kids is like michelob ultra light compared to the truth. why is it precious is not then also pushing an envelope that doesn't need to be pushed? if clark would have shot precious it would have been dynamite, but there probably wasn't enough hedonism there for him.

LOL why cuz of the Temple of Doom thing? Gotta love the free falling blow up boat scene, classic, haha.

Temple started out with great promise - *really* great promise - and right about the point where they wash up on the riverbank and meet the sadhu, it all just falls the f*ck apart.

No it doesn't. Temple of Doom had everything-voodoo, child slavery, insects, monkey brains, cut open snakes, secret passages, epic fights, chanting, mine rides, crocodiles, etc, adventure adventure adventure. And the chick in it was MUCH hotter than the rest. I mean, Indie marries that ugly ***** from Raiders.......oh yeh...lmao..he has a KID with her which happens to be that LOSER from Transformers. Man they really ruined the franchise for me.

Can't beleive you guys rate crappy Crusade better than Doom. Sean Connery, who is only capable of speaking in a thick Scottish accent.....Wasn't he supposed to be a Russian in Red October? LMAO, still spoke in his homeland accent.

It's true; it *did* have chilled monkey brains, for dessert.

But Kate Capshaw hotter than Karen Allen? Really? Do they let you bring your seeing-eye dog into the theater with you...?

you make a good argument there. while i still don't like the film, i can see where you're coming from. how about Gregg Arraki's first couple of films, The Doom Generation, Nowhere, etc...some people despise the style, and while it rediculously pushes the limit of good taste (in fact, it's horrendously BAD taste), i LOVE those films...mostly because unlike "KIDS", it's sort of a pseudo-reality that was being portrayed, and i guess that appeals to me more. "KIDS" came off with more of a documentary feel, which as a style is cool, but the movie just didn't appeal to me. just my opinion, but i respect your opinion, as i never looked at it that way.
