Worst movies eveeeeeeeeer!!!

I got Plan 9 From Outerspace in a two-pack with Robot Monster.
If you only got the two-pack, then you're missing out. I got the three-pack, which includes those two and also Glen or Glenda, and it comes in its own pink angora sweater box.

And let me tell you, until you've sat through "Glen or Glenda", you haven't experienced true bad filmmaking. I think "Transylmania" would win the Oscar for Best Picture, compared to "Glen or Glenda". In fact, I dare say "Gigli" would sweep the Oscars, compared to "Glen or Glenda". Highlander 2? I'd watch a 24-hour marathon of that as compared to another stomaching of "Glen or Glenda".

PULL THE STRING!

That's hilarious, I'm surprised they didn't offer a 4 pack with 'Jail Bait'.
Check out the IMDB page for "Glen or Glenda", it even has a picture of the pink angora sweater box.

Although I can't fathom how people are rating it a 3.6... it is seriously the most bizarre, unwatchable thing ever made...

I'll have to say tropic thunder. I felt angry at waisting 2 hours of my life!!!!

Tropic Thunder was terrible lmao. My god it sucked so bad. The only slightly funny bit in that is when Jack Black is holding his backside in slow motion shouting "MYYY AAAASSS!!!" now that was funny.

The whole film was just an atrocity.

I think Highlander 2 (Heavens to Betsy!!!! I did mention it ) is the worst due to the fact that they squandered so much potential from the well made original.

Plan 9 from Outer space was actually reviewed in Empire magazine years ago, describing it as 'hilarious and fun to watch because its so bad'.

I want to see it, apparently you see flying saucers with strings attached and stuff like that, sounds great!!!

Hahahaha does anyone remember The Blob? There was the old original and then a 90's remake. Lol, the 'blob', awesome idea for a movie. Not.

Say what you will about how bad a filmmaker Ed Wood was, but Plan 9, Glen or Glenda, and Bride of the Monster are never boring. They're far more interesting and entertaining than, say, the Transformers movies, which I would place on my own list of worst movies ever made. And oddly enough, as bad a filmmaker Ed Wood supposedly was, he actually had a unique voice and eye. I can watch an Ed Wood movie and recognize that he made it. I think we've all seen Hollywood movies with big stars that are totally bland and forgettable. So honestly, I would never place Plan 9, Glen or Glenda, or Bride of the Monster on the list of worst movies ever. Night of the Ghouls, however, is pretty boring, and doesn't have the charm or entertainment value of Plan 9, et al. And I still haven't seen Jain Bait, so I can't comment. But there's never a dull moment in Plan 9.

Im guessing Plan 9 from out space is one of those movies with 'charm', so it doesnt matter how goofy or bad it is, its likeable.

I would say so, yes. That's the draw of it, for me anyway. It is poorly made, with a didactic script, but it's entertaining and funny (albeit unintentionally-so) which counts for a lot in my book.

Old-school:

CAVEMAN with Ringo Star
HARDWARE back in the early 90's I believe

Recent:

TRANSFORMER'S 2 (what the hell happened here?)

I love those kind of movies, right up my street.

In fact, as I'm from England, on evenings when me and a couple of mates were bored and fancied getting some DVDs, we walked into Tesco (big UK supermarket) and look at the crap for sale DVD selection, movies you've NEVER heard of, all b-movie crap, and just pick random ones, usually ones that looked ridiculous and went home and watched them.

I tell ya, we had some funny bloody nights.

I remember watching some trailers for other crap movies on one of the DVDs, and one movie was called 'Psychic Killer', we never laughed so hard in our lives at some of the acting. Good times man, good times.

My friends and I do the same thing. In the states we have 99 cent stores. Everything in the store costs a dollar or less, and most of them sell DVDs. You get two really bad movies on one disc. I have a nice little collection of bad horror and martial arts films, such as King of the Zombies and Atomic Vampires. Some of them even include old animated shorts.

LOL sounds awesome. And even if the movies are real ****, at least the dudes that made them, made them. They had an interest in film making etc.

Do you remember the Toxic Avenger? God that was **** but in a great way!!!

I do the same: buying cheap 'interestingly bad looking' dvd's. I watch them when my wife isn't home as she doesn't enjoy it as much as I do. Some of them I keep, most of them I give away and sometimes I just recycle the dvd-jewelcase when I need one. This way I have bought and kept 'the American Ninja box' (5 movies! all of them horribly bad) for about 8 dollar (10 euro).

Did I mention I am a Seagal completist and orthodox Seagalogist? I own 23 of the 35 Seagal flicks that are currently for sale. Same goes for Rutger Hauer movies by the way, but that's different 'cause I'm Dutch and he actually can act. (He's just in a lot of bad movies, but not a bad actor.) Sad to say I only have 29 of the 110 movies he's in so far... But still searching and buying :).

Watching the extras (if any) on the cheap/bad movies is fun too. On The Omega Code (not talking about Hauer or Seagal anymore now) in the interviews they are very proud of the product. Hard to believe they are talking about the same movie I 'just' wacthed. (Omega Code was one of the 5 for 5 euro at the local toystore.)

My dad will buy ANYTHING with Ice-T in it. He's a 70 year trumpet player that has every Snoop Dogg CD on his Ipod and listens to it EVERY SINGLE DAY. I love that man.

2012?
10000 BC?
The day after tomorrow?
Independence Day?

Just think about the billion of dollars used for these 4 terrible movies. For me, that amount of money and that lack of talent deserves a place in the bottom of the food chain.
