Workflow diagram

Here is how we have organized shooting with our HVX system. We haven't had any problems come up but we are not doing our own editing. My question is, if we were to do our own editing is there any element that we need/want to add to the workflow?

I just wanted to make sure I have the on set production workflow solid before I jump into the editing. I am guessing that it is okay then. Anyway, I still haven't decided what NLE to go with.

I'd add an FS-100 to those P2 cards, and go with Edius Broadcast in Windows, or FCP in OS X.

I am probably going to go with Edius Broadcast but I think I'll wait for the Cineporter for longer record time.

We add what we're calling a "digital intermediate" (DI) stage with Raylight on set. Both drives are converted to AVI on-set or prior to delivery.

For ours, I would indicate that there is almost always reference audio from the camera.

Nice work - did you do that in PShop or something like Vizio?

I have Raylight on the DMM's laptop but the editor's that we have been using can handle native .mxf files so there hasn't been a need to convert the files prior to delivery. As for the diagram it was done in Photoshop and Visio
