Marti, would you be kind enough and talk to your "neighbour" Lennart Nilsson and convince him to bgive his input on these cameras, i think his input would be of great value. I saw Phillip Bloom in Älvsjo but no Nilsson, does he consider all these cameras below his level of quality

So got the camera today!

Right out of the box, I was surprised how small and light the body is. The buttons are well laid out and I like the flip out lcd so much more when shooting video...

I can all ready tell its more of a video camera which is what I was looking for. Now time to read that huge manual. With years of canon usage, some of this stuff looks greek... more to come!

So, it performed very well at a sports game last night! We shoot 2 HMC's and a GH1 and it was really hard to tell any difference on the 43" tv. Besides the DOF obviously - a canon 50mm produced some very nice looking images/video on the GH1.

So 1st issue, I am trying to take pictures and I find myself recording video! Interesting you can shoot video in any mode? So how is this avoided? A point in manual will work too, just haven't got through it..
