Nice top plate, I like it. Hopefully someone is going to replace the stock touch screen mounting arm, I already don't like it, it feels flimsy and not solid and I really want to move the touch screen forward 4-6" so it can be used when shoulder mounted. Feels as if the arm will eventually sag too with a lot of wear cycles.

Puredrifting, have you used the C200 shoulder mounted yet? Just curious if the exhaust vent being on the operators side has bothered you at all. It'd be cool if someone could create a module to redirect airflow behind the operator rather than beside. Or maybe it's a non-issue... I'm not sure as I haven't had the opportunity to use one yet.

Yes, I have shot with it shoulder mounted on a hot day at the beach. The hot air pouring into my ear was obnoxious to be honest. Fortunately the fan shuts off when you roll. I shot some interviews last week inside a home, green screen. The fan shut off for 44 minutes (long interview) but kicked back on, stayed on for about 3 minutes, then turned off again. Fortunately I was about 12' from talent so the sound mixer didn't throw me any death stares but in a small, really quiet room, this fan noise could really compromise things, you can hear it when you are operating for sure. It's not a huge deal but it is definitely an inconvenience.

Picked up the C200 set from wooden. As much as I prefer to save money with smallrig, needed something asap for a job next week. I'd definitely like something better than the current monitor situation as its so damn confusing on how to rotate the LCD in a quick run and gun situation. OH, and if something can develop a way to have those tool-less screws stay where they need to be, that'd be great. Total fail by canon on getting rid of the c100s top handle screw design.

What's the issue you've had with the C200's top handle screws?

They fall out :)

Are you using the lock washers that came with the camera? From page 11 of the manual:
