Wireless mic system

Hello! I'm looking to purchase a wireless mic system for use with the Panasonic DVX100A. The original system I bought, an Azden MSPro only had a 1/8 inch plug and won't work with my camera. I am looking for something under the $250 price range. I understand that is a low budget for a mic, but this is for a non-profit piece and we can't afford anything more costly. I am going to be shooting inside a hospital and need something without a large receiver box. The Azden system seemed perfect if it would work with the DVX. Does anyone have any suggestions? My main goal is shooting clean enough interviews that background noise won't get in the way-- eliminating that as much as I can based on my budget. I'm not looking to rent equipment- wouldn't mind having a low cost wireless system around for future use as well.

You might want to check in the Audio forum here at DVXUser. It is filled with threads discussing wireless mic systems. Also, a quick use of the search function can yield a plethora of threads addressing wireless mics.

What you will find, however, is that your budget will not get you a decent system. Avoid any wireless system labeled "Azden" or "Samson" at all costs. While you don't have the budget to purchase something decent, you have more than enough to rent the system you do need. Check Trew Audio. They'll ship rentals anywhere.
