wireless lavalier minijack to XLR noise

Just noticed it is a TWO transmitter system - so does one pack come out of the left and the other the right? With only one pack, if we're totally losing one of them, perhaps the low output is actually just leakage from the one not being used? If it has two separate unbalanced outputs this is a completely different scenario?

Good observation. Geez, I looked through the manual and never noticed that. That would explain why they say the output is stereo. Then none of the cables or wiring suggested would work. Bonlev would need this - https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1237751-REG/hosa_technology_hmx_003y_1_8_stereo_mini_to.html

That reasonably explains the results Bonlev is getting. Left is going to the proper pin on the XLR, Right is going to the low side of the balanced input, sleeve is going to ground. Not good.

I tested yesterday for the first time the 2 transmitters outside with my GH5S and it worked flawless! Both transmitters output their signal into the same audio input signal. You can't separate them but for me this not an issue.

thx again for your help Paul and others. I also saw someone suggested the boya 35c-xlr. This one Is special made for the boya wireless system so I guess this will also resolve my problem not? Otherwise I will order that and post my results here.

There are 2 versions of the boya 35c-XLR.. The pro version can have phantom power if I'm a correct. In my case I don't need the phantom power? And if so my dvx200 has phantom power if needed

I'm totally confused. If you are getting the two transmitters summed together and not separated on left and right, then the cable I last suggested is probably not correct. I would contact Boya. Tell them what you are doing and ask them what cable/adapter to use.

thx again for your help guys!

It is always a problem for me to adapt such items between themselves. I am from the UK, deerfield beach webcam and I have nobody around to ask to do this for me. So I am forced to look for such information on the forums like this. It is great that guys here are sharing various helpful tips and step by step I can progress. Soon I will create a thread with some questions I need more help with.

Cut the jack off. Plug in an unsoldered xlr. Connect the screen to pin 1. Experiment. My starting guess would be to assume the two conductors are the left and right, so I would bridge pin 1 to the 2 or 3 and connect one of the two conductors to the other. If that doesn’t work try the other conductor. One combination will work.
