Wireless lav for EX3

When I bought my 3 Sanken Cos11 lavs, my dealer wired them for the G2 system for free. I used TAI Audio because they're local, but I'm pretty sure the other full service audio specialists will do the same.

That reminds me that you should tell your talent to be careful with the mics. A lot of times they try to "help" you by ripping off the mic when they're done. Tell them to let you (or someone in the know) wire and un-wire them. One time, a talent broke a connection, which I didn't find out about until the mic didn't work on my next job. And it was about $50 to repair.

Has anyone tried the newer Sony systems. I like the thought of a diversity system - although I can't tell if this is true diversity or not. That was my only knock on the Sennheisers. I had an Audio Technica diversity system for a while, very nice but a bit large to use on the camera. The Sony looks like a good fit, but I've never heard great things about the sound quality.
