Winterizing the 7D

I was wondering if anyone has gone up North to where there are harsh cold conditions shooting with the 5D MK2 or the 7D.

I haven't found any information related to the 7D.

Here are some rules of thumb but -20 is not really the temperature that will be available in these areas.
