Me like it. Me pleased.
Thanxx Jarred for arranging all this, and for all the work you have done with this community. Appreciate it deeply. Also great respect to all the people who participated with their creative ideas.
I'm honoured if I have helped in any way with Red evolution, and I hope the RED creative team will in future also stand out with it's open minded approach to it's community.

btw.
I'm 6'1'' so reserve me an L (I think) - RED ONE :)

ha ha ha. The minis are 60gb. Special thanks again for G-tech coming in at the last minute to pony them up.

Im gonna ship everything out monday, so you winners should start PM'n me your addresses

Congrats to the winner and big Thanks to Jarred you are great man for arranging all thoses threads, and stimulating our imagination and creativ side, maybe i will not be able to buy the Red camera, but i will be happy that such kind of tech exist and make me dream about it.

The Oakley guys should expand their creativ touch to many other fields, and make them more REDish.

I honestly thought that Digital 7.1 Surround config was a good idea, on camera. Doing it in post is a lot more difficult. :Drogar-Evil(DBG):

And 9-CCDs beats 1 CMOS anyday.

And lazer-point focus was brilliant, too.

And so was the built-in error code port.

Hmph. Ha.

i like the 7.1 idea as well.. and it seems to make even more sense after we learned its gong modular.. so people could choose thier channels.. either 2 channes, 4 channels, 5 channels. or 7 channels. brilliant.

Just noticed this thread today. Some great minds out there. I'm the in-house photog and video guy for Fujifilm USA and something caught my eye.

I'd like to point out that Fuji digital cameras already use what's described as "Adaptive Sensitivity". It's really does work, but does it in a much simpler way than described in the earlier post. Fuji made a CCD that has both high sensitivity and low sensitivity image wells, all nestled next to each other. At exposure, both sets collect data at once, but at differing voltage levels. The digital processing algorithms just pick which set of data to use and seemlessly blend it all together. In this way, they can get about 2 stops more latitude than anyone else's digital camera. I traded emails with Jim J. about this a few months ago, and they were aware of this. If you want to see it in action, go to a dealer and have them show you an S3 Pro camera.
