Win 7 64bit compatibility

Can anybody tell me if the XhA1 is compatible with win7 64bit. I had rented the cam a while back when I was running vista 32bit and could not capture the footage onto my system. I have since upgraded my OS and found someone with the cam who's willing to let me use it just to capture the video onto my computer to pull out the original HD footage I shot. I hear a lot of really mixed things about drivers and compatibility of win7 64bit all over the internet, I really want to get this footage out and dont want to go through the same nightmares I had the first time I tried to capture the video. I will be using cineform to capture but I also use PP cs5 if you think that might be a better solution. Any info would be great.

I have Windows 7 64 bit and use Premiere Pro CS5 for all of my editing. It works great, I have run into very few problems. I don't know about Cineform but I would not hesitate to use CS5 with Windows 7 64 bit, I think it is much faster than CS4 on the 32 bit platform.
