Will Zeiss ZFs meter on 7D?

Anyone know about this. I heard they will meter on D90 but not D5000. How does Canon do with these lenses?

The ZF's are made for Nikon bodies... I think you'd want to look at the Zeiss ZE series that are made for Canon bodies.

Not sure if they'll meter through the 7D... but they are EOS mounts.

Newer ZE lenses have electronic contacts, so all exposure modes are supported (manual, shutter-priority, auto exposure, aperture priority). So yes, it does meter (even with the flash TTL).
