GH2 Will this follow focus work?

I just purchased this follow focus: http://fancierstudio.com/dslr-shoulder-support-steady-rig-15mm-mount-follow-focus-rl02f.html to use with my GH2/14-140 lumix lens. Will it work and if not why?

Yes it will work. You will just put on the lens gear on the lens and then it's just to go. However the Lumix is a bit hard to use with a follow focus, as it isn't a direct coupled focus ring (as you see there's no marks on it), but instead working from the camera. First, you lack hard stops so if you go past infinity/macro, the lens keeps turning and your marks will be off and since the ring isn't coupled to the lens, it's possible you need to remark when turning off.

Just worried about Panny lenses and how there's a bit of back and forth to find the focus.

There is also the issue of the speed at which you change the focus. Like the 20mm F1.7 is just frustrating sometimes. I want to do a quick rack focus, but when you turn it very fast, it actually changes the focus very slowly. This will also be a problem if you're making marks, because if you try to get to your mark too fast, it won't get there because it's going into low sensitivity.
