will these lights/battery fit on to a dvx?

[ciencin]

It says it fits most dslr cameras, but it has a sony battery / charger. I asked the a guy in the shop and he told me it can be used as long as you have a sony battery and a charger but just want to be 100% sure that that battery will work with the dvx100a...

Well, that battery is for the light. The battery will not power your DVX. But the light has a shoe mount and will mount to your DVX without a problem.

Ah I see, I thought the battery had to power the cam.
