Will the ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 12-60mm F2.8-4.0 work with the GH1

My question is has anyone used this lens via DMW-MA1 on the GH1
and can you at least control the aperture and focus manualy (aperture most
likely electronically through the GH1).
Mostly and pretty-much will be used for video shoot only.

The new G2 is supposed to have AF support for most 4/3 lenses, even the older type and the SWD line, such as the 12-60mm. I'm hoping it will be possible for a firmware update on the GH1, to allow this additional compatibility.

I hope by the time gh2 trickles out, that applies to the Olympus SWD F2 zooms.

Oh, great. Now I'll have to decide if I wanna SELL off my GH1... or keep it as a backup body once the GH2 comes out. Sigh... decisions, decisions... rogar-BigGrin(DBG)
