I feel that Canon overprices on accessories by 150%- 300%- $100 for a battery for the EOS 5D Mark II? Come on!
The same situation for the FS-CV 100GB Hard Disk Drive; portable 100 GB firewire hard drives are running about $200-the Canon FS-CV is $1650!. :kali:
Just wondering if any one knows if the camera will record to a Firewire HD? It is a firewire connection ( The IEEE 1394 Firewire standard) which is universal in applications across the board, no?
These are not rhetorical questions, I have no need for a portable firewire hd but would purchase one if I knew it was going to work with this camera. :violin:
Thanks for reading and muchas gracias if you have any input !.
After checking around, I found my answer-no, because there has to be a computer between the camera and the portable HD! Oops
