F35: Will the Odyssey 7Q+ record 12bit 4:4:4 out of F35?

I got the odyssey 7q+ - hooked up to the a7s - 4k pro res - holy god it looks good. I have so much faith in CD - they have my f35 right now - can you believe that - a company that is making their product compatible with a camera only like 20 camera nerds and one cult leader we all worship use? They are the best. All salute Mitch Gross.
 
Mitch I am so excited and thrilled that CD has decided to take this project into reality. You will have my 7Q order the day you announce the F35 specific capabilities.
 
Have been out of the loop for a while here so let me just make sure Im caught up with what we have with the 7q and 7q+ ...We are currently able to get 10bit 444 DPX, 10bit 422 ProRes, including 10bit 422 ProRes in 50p as well? but we are currently waiting on 12bit 4444 ?? am I right?

I use mine on a noga arm or a handheld rod system - i have my f35 with a zacuto 15mm rod system - old school and who cares - you can get it for cheap. then there is the odyssey 7q sitting there - which I use as a monitor and recorder and BOOM - images record - and BOOM - then i can take the images and load them into the computer and obsess for days on grading them

Hey eddavid, just got my 7q+ about a week ago and Im loving it...only thing missing from my rig now is a follow focus unit...Definitely cant find an affordable 19mm solution. Would you mind positing up some stills of your setup with your 15mm zacuto rod system? I'm using a Tilta 19mm rod system but I need an adapter to mount 15mm accessories.
 
I know this is answered somewhere but I can't find it right now,

Does the 7Q need the dual link cables out of the IF box to record 50p signal? Is the monitor out port limited to 30P max over it's single SDI line, or can you record 10-bit 422 50p onto a 7Q without the IF box?
 
Pretty sure the output of those SDI connections is limited to 1.5G, which would mean you would need two in order to get to 50p.

Mitch is right...Just got my 7Q+ and the first thing I tested was a 50p signal...you definitely need two cables to get 50p ProRes and also for 50p DPX as well.

and to record ProRes 422 in 24p on the Odyssey 7Q I don't need the If box, right?
