Will Shure ever replace FP33?

Seems like this unit's been around a long time...with Sound Devices seemingly dominating the market with ever evolving product line. Is Shure about to drop something onto the market or are they just going to ride the FP33 into the sunset?

Shure really doesn't seem to have an interest in production sound anymore. They don't have camera-mountable wireless, they don't make a hyper suitable for boom use, and they've only got the one shotgun - and it's a long gun. I really doubt we'll see any new field mixers from them.

They used to have the FP24, which was the Sound Devices MixPre in a Shure wrapper.

Jon Tatooles, co-founder and co-owner and all-around kind guy at Sound Devices, worked at Shure for somewhere around 9 years before starting Sound Devices, if that helps any with where the Shure production-audio minds went...
