Will Pay Someone to Perform GH2 Hack - NYC ASAP.

There aren't any settings that you can adjust that are going to make a client say "WOW, I am so glad you used those settings that makes all the difference in the world". However, if the camera fails even once I gaurantee the client will say "WOW, I can't believe you messed up the firmware on your camera when you knew how important this shoot is to me".

It is the same reason why Panasonic doesn't use a really high bit rate out of the box. They can't gaurantee that it will work 100% of the time.

Exactly. That's why I don't venture into the very high settings. I am very happy with moderate ones.

Thanks for your reply ...as I'm sure, or at least hopeful, that you were simply trying to be helpful. Illustrating something that is basic for us, but beyond elementary for someone else, often requires a bit of patience.

In any event, with this hack ...there seems to be many versions for various purposes and we'd like to make informed choices. Further, most of the tools for installation seem to be PC oriented and we use Mac. As such, we think it best to ask for help from among those who know better than we do about certain things. Especially, since most our crew are intuitives, rather than techies. Thirdly, we don't typically have the free time to experiment or to risk downtimes with our tools. For better or worse, we have no problem being humble about things we need help with. We always enjoy helping folks when we can, and the reciprocity of such a spirit is what makes for community...

Hopefully we'll get a bit of an assist to effect this hack, and the appropriate version soon...
