I ran across a site advertising PCMCIA card readers, and I was wondering if they would work with the P2 cards, they look they read a wide range of flash based memory cards and accept almost all the different sizes. It needs to be a 32-bit card reader for Type II PC Cardbus.

No inexpensive/cheap USB or firewire reader will work. Ever. It has to be specifically designed to work with a P2 card, and if it was designed specifically to work with P2 cards, it'd say so.
What about the adapters which allow the P2 size cards to be read by the smaller PCI xpress slots? http://www.psism.com/duel_adapter.htm
