Wide angle converter for A1

Does any own canon's "Wide Converter WD-72". Just got my A1 yesterday (whoo-hooo!), trying to decide if it's worth getting this. I'm shooting a documentary in the amazon, don't want to wish I had it after the fact. Any opinions / experience with this converter?

Yes, yes, yes!!! DEFINITELY worth the expense.

Makes the cam a little front heavy, but definitely worth it on a camera that packs a lot of bang for its buck!

Hey guys

I am having issues with the wide angle having, in my book, pretty bad chromatic aberation towards the edges of the frame.

Anyone else with this lense having htese issues.? or noticing them at all?
