Wide angle converter for 20mm pancake?

Hi All

I'm sure this has been mentioned before, but i can't seem to find it in search. I'm looking for a wide angle converter for my 20mm pancake to give me more width in a low light situation. I've used cheapo ones on my HV30 and have actually got some nice looking stuff from them, but none of them fit the threads of 20mm pancake or if they do, they don't focus. I'm assuming something would need to be at least a larger thread size than that of the 20mm to avoid vignetteing .

It would be nice to be able to use it on the stock lens also for cheap wide options.

Any ideas?

Not to mention the 46mm filter thread wide angle converter for Panasonic LX3, imo perfect for the 20mm albeit it doesn't make it go extra wide. Do note though that any extra weight onto the pancake will stress the motor, even when 'manual' focusing.

Whats the cheapest/best value way of getting a wide angle/fish eye for the GH1. An adapter on the 20mm or on the stock 14-140mm?. Guessing it would be easier to attach to the 20mm?

You can check out a thread I started here:

Here is a video I shot with a Canon wide angle converter:

GH1 - 20mm 1.7 - Canon WD-55 0.7x

Three videos total, two outdoors and one indoors. All shot at 720p in Creative Movie and M mode. All videos color corrected in Edius Neo Booster 2.5 since I shoot really flat and wanted to show a more realistic look.

Sharpness Test Outdoors

1st video - 1/125 f4 - ISO 100 - Auto Focus on
2nd video - 1/125 f5.6 - ISO 100 - Auto Focus on

About as sharp as it gets for a wide converter in my book.

Exposure Test Indoors

3rd video - 1/60 f1.7 - ISO 1000

The exposure meter showed no drop or change in exposure when adding the wide converter.
