I bet the 1DC 4K is sharper than EPIC's 4K. At least EPIC 2K is horrible.
Smaller image plane doesn't really affect your ability to make a decent film or TV show, though. These were all shot on s16 which is technically smaller.though I have my doubts about Micro4/3 due to its very deep DOF.

...Care to back up your statement with some proof ?
If you cant get a shallow dof from a 1/3rd inch sensor, never mind a micro 4/3rds sensor. You better hang it up and start looking for a new profession. Of course there's compromise with a 1/3rds inch. But it's completely doable if you set up your shot and have the needed room to back off the subject. just say'n.
Lots of noise at medium to low light, not very sharp, cropped glass.
Well said.
I will definitely give you the low-light noise issue. With my GH-2 I try and limit myself to ISO 800 or lower when I shoot.
I am going to call you on the "not very sharp", as even the Philip Bloom Xmas shoot-out had the hacked GH-2..
We were talking about the RED Epic 2k format.
