P phally Well-known member Feb 4, 2007 #1 Love the camera but just little annoyed that there is no letterbox composite output when recording because I only have a 4:3 trt viewer... is there a way around it, or will I have to get use to shooting distorted 4:3

Elton Veteran Feb 4, 2007 #2 There is a letterbox mode. In VTR mode, Go to signal setup/HD downconversion--turn it on/ and turn Letterbox underneath it to ON.
