GH5 Why Is Constant Preview Always On When Using metabones Speedbooster And Manual Lenses

Is anyone else experiencing this phenomenon: I have a GH5 set to all manual, using a Metabones Speedbooster (Nikon F Mount) and manual Rokinon cine lenses. I only use the viewfinder, never the flip out screen. When I set the menu item CONSTANT PREVIEW to "On," I see exposure changing in real time with the viewfinder and the flip out screen just as it's supposed to work. When I switch CONSTANT PREVIEW to "OFF," the exposure still changes in real time as I adjust the lens aperture ring. Is the Speedbooster and manual lenses completely overriding the CONSTANT PREVIEW option? If this is normal I'll accept it. It not, do I need to ship the camera back to Nikon for repairs? Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Is the camera's mode dial set to Creative Video Mode? As per the manual, the Constant Preview setting applies when in Manual Exposure Mode (stills). As such, the Constant Preview setting has no purpose when the dial is set to the Creative Video mode. In this mode, exposure changes will be reflected when Exposure Mode is set to "M".

Thanks for your response. Everything is set to manual. I only use my GH5 for video, so, yes, I am in creative video mode always. So, let me see if I understand your response: in creative video mode, whether or not I have "Constant Preview" on or off, my viewfinder and/or LCD screen will always be in constant preview mode, i.e. both the LCD/viewfinder will reflect exposure in real time as I adjust the aperture on my manual lens? In other words, the "Constant Preview" mode is useless in manual video/creative video mode? Whether it is set to on or off is irrelevant. My LCD/Viewfinder will always reflect exposure changes when I adjust manual aperture ring?
