For people who want to use Nikon and Canon glass, it's because using them with a crop sensor sucks.
With m4/3, you'd be using, what, a 24mm lens to get the field of view of a 50mm on full frame? The perspective of a 24mm lens IS NOT RIGHT for shots you would frame with 50mm FoV. It sucks. Even the much less severe crop of APS sucks. I shot with an APS Nikon D2x for 5 years and I will never shoot a crop camera ever again.
For anyone else, I don't know what their problem is. The footage is clearly superior.
