C200: Who sells spare C200 EVF Caps?

I don't see anyone having such a specific item besides the Canon parts department.

Although you could probably find a third-party somewhere (eBay) that would possibility fit.
 
Texas Media Systems has been my go to for spare Canon parts. Terry Nixon from there frequents these forums, hopefully he’ll chime in.
 
Thanks guys. I'll probably just call Canon, but surprised retailers don't sell them as it's a stand alone piece of plastic that I would think many people have lost? Guess I'm the only one ;-)
 
I used a leftover 4" long thread like camera strap from a point and shoot camera to tether mine to the left camera strap loop on my C200.

It flops around a bit when I use the EVF, but I've never lost the EVF cover as a result.
 
Talked to Canon Parts today and ordered two, they sell them for about $4.00 ea. I don't have the part number yet but when they arrive, I'll post it so if you guys need one, you'll know the part number. Just saw your post JB, that's nice nice of you to offer, but I ordered two because they were cheap.

It's only a matter of time until I lose mine... Thanks for doing the legwork on the part #.
 
They want the monopoly. Too bad, it took a 20 minute phone call for the helpful guy to find out on which database the part was listed under. Much easier to just order on-line but that's life.
