Who PAYS Client or Shooter HVX workflow

P2 files are in different folder comressing is you might loose the folders with different files I dont know how good compression on already compress folder works. I would rather store less then comression it to save a penny because ultimatly it is not a solid state media all it take is one studid little scratch and you loose everything.

I agree, though that's not much of an argument, cause if you think about it (to use your words) all it takes is one stupid little mistake to knock down and break something from your HVX!

People should simply be more carefull that's all, you can't have everything in this life we're living.

I've been archiving on DVD-R for over a year now. I create a folder for every new job, at the end I archive the entire folder using a program called Handy Backup. It breaks the files down into chunks that will fit on the DVD then reassembles them if I load them back on the computer. This way I ahve all the raw footage and the vegas veg file, so I can actually reedit with the original footage.

Nice one and at the 42€ price, it sure sounds compelling. I'll give it a test trial.
