Who Has Received Their PAL HVX200?

Like Steve Shovlar said we can edit PAL only in 1080i interlaced like the Sony Z1.
Apple needs to upgrade FCP to give us progressive. You can´t use he camera strength right now. So HD and DVCPRO50 only in 1080i.

Sorry I meant can anyone confirm shooting in DVCPro50 and editing successfully in Avid without any problems. Don't want to shoot a few hours and find I can't deliver to the client :)

Anyone found a decent monitor (£500ish) to team with the HVX ~ I think I can work with the LCD and focus assist to a certain extent, but the color of the LCD and VF is way off. So could do with a nice little monitor to check for sharpness and color.

Booth, I have a Teletest 7 inch lcd monitor but they cost £1000 not 500. In fact I don't think you will find anything in that price range.

I have been researching 7 inch monitors for on camera work and the best bet seems to be the Marshall V-R70P HDA.

Sells in the states for $1349 which is about £775 plus postage and duty if you get caught. Folks are raving about it though it doesn't have flip. ( If you use the M2)

I think you can edit 1080P, since it is running on a 50i stream. If you have a 1080i 50 preset, you simply capture your 25p footage, and it should work fine.

Well, I've mainly only managed to shoot indoors last night with very little light and viewing on the sony monitor and the low light areas did look noisy. Buut how are people defining which conditions to look for noise?
I took one shoot outside in bright daylight which looked stunning but I really wouldnt like to say too much until I see it presented on a good monitor.
strange camera..

It looks like 8GB cards are filtering in, here in the UK.

I've spoken to both mitcorp and Hpreston who say the same thing, same price. Due some time this week.
