Who are some cool and obscure comic book characters that are deserving of a movie?

Andy Cap? Errrrr maybe not

Perhaps... Oor Wullie? ehhhh yeah yeah, maybe not.

Well, okay, I still like some of the Batman, Iron Man was good. Hulk was not bad but...I think it'd be cool with some more Super Man movies if they can find a suitable character. Christopher Reeve was the perfect actor for it.
I guess Superman 2013 is due out. I could be down for that. It looks good.

More like errrrr maybe YES!

hey, think of the sales boost it could bring for those "pub fries".

Could you imagine the look of confusion on the face of teenage America after seeing the trailer for Andy Capp: The Movie

hahaha. I don't think anyone has the balls to do it. If they did though, I'd lay down a ticket. No problemo. haha.

Henry Cavill I'm rooting forward to but Russel Crowe and Kevin Costner? F--, I hope they don't blow the movie. Jeez . Henry looks pretty good in the movie so far. I hope those other asses don't ruin it for him.
//Eh. Never mind. They will.

I'd like to see a good version of Spawn done with a reboot. The animated series was pretty good. If they could make a live action Spawn that captured the comics and the animated stories' style and feel, then they might have something. It would have to still be kept a bit low-mid budget though, as Spawn is a darker character than even Batman.

I am a big Tick fan. Would love to see a feature film much like the live action series but with better production value. The tv show really held back with visuals and action because of budget. The Tick is hilarious.

Regarding Rick o"shay and Hipshot....

Ah. Never heard of it. Hmmm. Yeah, looks cool. Maybe you've got something there. Huh. He any good? Like Clint, good?

//Oh, BTW. I know nothing about film. I hobby around in the post process.

Yeah, Rick O'Shay was Sheriff and his bad guy friend (with a good heart) was Hipshot. Kinda like Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid (if one of them was on the side of the law).

Alright. Got a good movie from them that you could recommend that I could look for? You've got me interested now. I'm not sure how I can get it yet.

The Tick is basically a naive, innocent, goodhearted, and wondrous idiot/manchild whose brain is inside a 350lb super-human strength body. His vocabulary is advanced, meaning he says lots of campy phrases usually littered with alliteration, but that is the jist of it.

There have been several depictions of the Tick, some make him just weird, while others make him dumb. The Tick character really thrives somewhere in the middle.

Okay. I see from a google search that they have a comic series and T.V series. Now, before I check youtube, and I have (;)) is there something that you'de like to post that gives an overall impression, if possible, in one episode?
I'd hate to just watch one lousy episode and get the wrong impression. Kind of like Star Trek. ;)

//Oh btw, I love the toon character. haha.

The Live-action TV show was short lived (just 9 episodes) and some were bad. But it was more adult oriented and Patrick Warburton is amazing as the Tick (Amazing as Brock Samson from venture bros too). This show shows promise of what could have been but the production value lacked. I think the Tick Universe could have been a bit bigger and not so much low budget stage 'sit-com' look. Just watch the pilot:

Then again, the TV show, although not as adult oriented, did have funny moments and great Tick-isms.

You asked for a comic character who could use a good film. I think Patrick Warburton would still be great as the Tick, but I'm afraid the ship has sailed for that.
