Hey can you guys tell what am i doing wrong? I don't see any changes on the picture when i am trying to adjust white balance using the K knob. I am using a white paper and AWB is off. I also have set the lever to P. Thx:banned:

You have to press the white balance button first so that the color temperature display starts to blink, then the knob will work. If not, it just adjusts shutter speed.

Hi jade, i do press it and i usually get 0+/- and then try to adjust it using the k knob and i don't see much difference the number change but the picture stays the same but But if i put the lever to A or B i can see difference. hmmm:banned:

Sawra the increments are like 100k so between two the difference is minimal, try moving it a few thousand.

The reason you're seeing 0+/- is because you don't have the white balance button set to adjust color temp. There should be three settings located underneath the handle, A, B, and K (I think it's called K, don't have the cam in front of me right now). When you do have K selected you should see a color temp like 5200 K, and then you can do adjustment.

I read somewhere that you should white balance between every set-up or scene. What's the benefit of this? Color continuity?
