white balance on xh-a1

quick question. is it ok or better to use a 20% grey card to set white balance on the xh-a1. i think in the manual they say white card.

Grey card is perfectly fine for white balance if it is a calibrated color neutral reference card. Same holds true for a white card too. You can also use various non neutral white card stocks to cheat the white balance a bit for a slightly warmer or cooler look.
